bio
At my core I carry a legacy of creativity from a family of makers. My early memories were of both grandmothers making me clothes, and my father making sculpture, painting murals and owning a landscaping business. I began to sew, draw, embroider, and collage as a young girl. In my late twenties I studied graphic design and worked as a graphic designer for 10 years. I now use vintage paper, thread, found photos, old journals, found objects, antique fabric, and old books in my mixed media pieces. What the next thing will be is always a mystery to me—until that moment, it is revealed to me through the act of creating each day.
